Prof. Mingozzi’s career has been dedicated to advancing safe and effective genetic medicines for both inherited and acquired diseases. He has played a leading role in pioneering AAV gene therapy clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas, including metabolic and bleeding disorders, neuromuscular diseases, and inherited forms of blindness. Through this work, he has built extensive expertise spanning delivery platform innovation, manufacturing, regulatory strategy, and clinical development.
